This site was originally set up to be dedicated to just death metal, hence the name (a sort of piss take of dontstayin.com). Then I quickly realised that everyone I know is a dance music DJ of one style or another. So for a while I went along with that. There are still plenty of links to underground electronica down the left of the screen. And as far as my blogging goes i have moved everything across to a newer wordpress page that gives me less hassle!

Here are some tunes and mix’s (when the widgets are working) that I’ve made over the years. A few sounds i made using some very basic hardware like the Korg ER1 drum machine going through a guitar effects peddle. For others i have used software such as Rebirth (for synths and drum patterns), Fruity Loops (for synth VST’s and effects), and Soundforge (for editing samples). But mostly i have used a program called Acid for arranging the overall tunes, or even entire mix’s as i cannot DJ live at all. Although that hasn’t stopped me playing a handful of gigs over the years. For more info on that go to the “History” page.

All but one tune in this first widget are downloadable. If anyone wants to sample, remix, or whatever then feel free. Fuck, if you want to do just about anything with them then i honestly don’t care. I don’t write music any more, and never flattered myself that anyone would pay for these even when i was doing them. But track 2 is a short mix including many sounds made by friends that are just not mine to give away. Simple as that.

The 2nd widget is JUST mix’s (no individual tunes), so the same reason as i just mentioned applies. Plus you can’t download from Mixcloud anyway.

Lastly, the MixLR widget at the bottom of this page (after my Instagram photographs) is just for show at the moment, as i have not broadcast anything on their yet. But you should check MixLR out anyway as it lets anyone with a resonable internet connection broadcast a live internet radio show in full CD quality.
